I could drill for any kind of substance in the lithosphere what would it be. Oil, gold, silver or any thing else. You dont have to pick from those 3. Why would you drill for what you pick?
I would drill for oil because if i found somewhere where we could drill enough oil for our country we wouldnt have to buy oil from other countries and we would save money. I would also make a lot of money if I drilled the oil also.
I would drill for gold. Gold is very valuable and you could get a lot of money for it. It can be made into jewlery or anything else. You could make a great profiet off of gold.
If I could drill for something it would have to be diamonds. Diamonds are worth a lot of money and sometimes thousands depending on the size. I like that they are used in jewelry a lot too. You can find diamond necklaces, earrings, bracelets and also watches. All in all, diamonds play a big role when you are trying to be flashy.
I agree with Kaitlyn I would also drill for gold because the price for gold has been contiually raising. Everything on TV now is about people trying to find a prime location for gold because of the price value.
I agree with Chris. I would definitely drill for oil because they know where you can find it, and with the price of oil now, you could become very rich very fast. You don't have to have gold to do things, but you have to have oil to run things like cars.
I would most likely dig for gold. Then I would be able to bring my discovery back and research on it. Once I find its value, I would most likely sell some, and keep some as a reminder of the experience I had.
If I got the chance to drill for something, I would either drill for diamonds or oil. I would drill for diamonds because they are very valuable and every girl loves her diamonds. I would drill for oil because it is also very valuable because oil is used in many way and people make huge profits from it.
If i could drill for anything in the lithosphere, I would probably drill for silver. Although silver isn't as valuable as gold, I like silver jewlery a lot better. It would also be easier to drill for silver instead of gold because there is a lot more of it. This is probably why it isn't as valuable, however you could find more and make a similar proffit off of silver.
I would drill for oil. I say that because oil is very valuable, and other things like diamonds and gold are harder to find. The US has the most amount of oil in the ground than anywhere else in the world.
If I could drill for any mineral in the world, it would have to be Alexandrite. In sizes over 4.00 cts, this mineral is more expensive then rubies, sapphires, and even diamonds. They are blue-green in daylight, but under incandescent light turn red or purple. This is a rare gemstone that exhibits dramatic color changes which causes it to be so expensive.
I would choose calcite because it is used in many things that we are exposed to everyday. An example of this would be cement. Although diamonds are very expensive and can be very profitable, I would personally rather use calcite and other minerals in making cement.
I would drill or mine for the mineral of either Diamonds and/or Emeralds. I would mine for Diamonds because they are worth a lot of money. I would mine Emeralds only because I like how they look. Especially when they are polished and cut!
